SWAN LAKE & AMBASSADOR PHOTOSHOOT

INFORMATION

Shoot Location: Tempe Studio’s

Address: 637 Princes Hwy, Tempe NSW 2044

Studio is accessible via Brooklyn Lane at the back entrance with some onsite parking located here.

 

ARRIVAL:

Arrive with hair and make-up done. Dancers will warm up individually upon arrival.

  • Swan Lake Shoot – Hair: Female dancers are to wear a sleek, middle-parted ballet bun positioned at medium height (not low on the neckline). The bun should be smooth and flat (“pancake” style).

  • 2026 Ambassador Shoot – Hair:
    Dancers may choose their own hairstyle.
    Those participating in both the Swan Lake and Ambassador shoots may change their hairstyle during the lunch break.

  • Makeup: A natural make-up ballet look.

Shoot times are a guide and may change depending on our progress.

Drop off & supervision:

Parents of junior dancers are welcome to stay if they feel it’s best. Parents of older dancers are welcome to meet the team and their dancer at drop-off; once the space becomes crowded, we kindly ask they step out and return at pick-up. Please reach out with any questions—we look forward to welcoming families while ensuring dancers have room to move comfortably.

SHOOT GENERAL INFO:

The shoot is to capture promotional content and our Swan Lake Campaign for our 2026 Season. As well as introduce our team of ambassadors.

We will be capturing some BTS photo and video content for our socials. Jacqueline will be capturing our professional photos.

Dancers / Talent will receive all content captured on the day to share on their socials tagging @_balletblanc

CHECKLIST:

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Water

  • Snacks

  • Lunch (we will also provide a small amount of catering - wraps & fruit)

  • Warm ups to hang out in & keep warm.

  • Pointe shoes for dancers on pointe.

  • Ballet flats for dancers on flat.

  • Ballet stockings in the colour Theatrical Pink OR to match skin tone.

  • Hair kit with extra hair pins

  • Make up for touch-ups

  • Lipstick colour options (nude / natural & red)

  • Nude, high cut dance undies to wear under your tights.

AMBASSADORS ATTIRE:

  • Ballet Class Attire/Leotards: Bring a variety, focusing on solid, pastel colours ie. light/powder blue, red or bright maroon, coffee, light pink, black, lilac, and white. Please bring any other options you love (including patterns). The more options, the better!

  • Any 1/2 tutu’s (pancake or romantic) that would match your leotard or skirts you may have.

  • Pointe shoes for those on point

  • Ballet flats for dancers on flat.

FEMALE DANCERS:

  • Ballet stockings should be new or like new, in a colour that closely matches your skin tone, with matching shoes. If wearing pink tights, Theatrical Pink is our preference.

  • Pointe shoes if on pointe, in new or like new condition.
